Software: The EasyCapture Code Reader Software is easy to install, gives reliable code readings and a smooth integration into any laboratory sample database. The software includes a ‘no tube, no code’ feature which can be crucial for determining whether any samples are missing.
Rack compatibility: The BQ-A6 reads 384-, 96-, 48-, 24- and 6-well format racks (standard ANSI / SLAS footprint) filled with 2D coded tubes.
ANTI-FROST VERSION
The Rack Code Reader BQ-A6 is also available in a Anti-frost version. This version has an anti-frost system, which enables users to read racks filled with 2D coded tubes straight from the freezer. The anti-frost system minimizes condensation of frozen samples on the scanner plate of the Code Reader. Tube codes from frozen samples can be read, improving productivity and preserving the integrity of your samples. The Rack Code Reader BQ-A6 (Anti-frost) is a simple and high-performance scanning unit. With a couple of mouse clicks in the EasyCapture Code Reader Software you will be able to scan a full rack of 2D Data-Matrix coded tubes in less than 5 seconds or a single tube in less than 2 seconds. Due to the small size of the Code Reader BQ-A6 the scanner can be easily integrated into robotic liquid handling or storage systems.
